6-1 Video

Template: Every one liner/sunglasses moment in CSI: Miami I was inspired by the reading on digital literacy and remixing to create a supercut. I used this supercut of every time Horatio in CSI: Miami says a one liner while putting his sunglasses on. My Video: All the creepy hands in The Bachelor I decided to loosely use the supercut format from my template video. I cannot do homework without watching TV. If I am sitting in silence or listening to music my mind wanders...and wanders... and wanders... and it is impossible to focus. However, it has to be a very particular kind of show, one that I've seen once or twice before or that I won't get interested in. Buffy, Parks and Recreation, Battlestar Galactica, and Doctor Who are all favorites. One show that I like to watch while working is The Bachelor. 1-3 Deutsche Technikmuseum

1-3 Deutsche Technikmuseum Three years ago my friend visited the Deutsche Technikmuseum in Berlin. The museum sounded fascinating and I hope to visit someday myself. The museum uniquely exhibits outdated and new technologies from a wide range of industries including, film, photography, brewing, aerospace, transportation, paper making, mathematics, computer science, the textile industry, and networks. I find it fascinating how the museum makes connections across such a wide range of technologies that I would not normally make myself. The museum displays prototypes for technologies we use everyday and highlights technologies that we don't normally have the opportunity to see, such as data cables. Because the museum's is so vast I believe the best way to show the media they exhibit is through images. The following is a series of images found on the Technikmuseum's website of their permanent collection.

11-1 Scratch Game and Classroom Connections

Help Me Fix My Bad Selfie! I take really bad selfies! I even have a collection of them! Help me fix my bad selfies by drawing on top of them. Use the mouse to draw, the space bar to clear and the up and down arrows to change the selfie. I had a really hard time deciding what to do for this project. My brain just doesn't speak any kind of programming language. I was racking my mind for game ideas, animation ideas, etc. Did I want to do something educational? Expressive? Funny? At first I wanted to create a game that in had to do with the environment in some way. So I googled environmental games on scratch and found a ton of stuff. I toyed with doing a NYC Flora and Fauna bingo game (based on a game I made for Highbridge Park last year). However, I only slept for four hours last night, and I knew that would probably be too complicated for my first scratch experiment. I then had the idea to create a drawing game.
